Millenniums passed – generations
came and went
– when an ache was born –
– a little hope a little joy –
– voices came into being and
– sighs and weeping could be heard
– and the ache died –

    joy disappeared and the sighs
died out –

    and time raced over
the earth – generations trampled
on generations
