Bernt Hambro

Bernt Anker Bødker Hambro (1862–1889)
Norwegian lawyer. In group portrait with Knud Knudsen and Johan Michelsen: “Jus” (“Law”) painted by Munch. Belonged to the circle of Kristiania bohemians. Earned his law degree in 1888. Moved thereafter to Edinburgh, where he became consulate secretary. Died in Scotland in October 1889. Visited the Lie family in Paris in 1887.
