Oda Krohg
Oda (actually Othilia) Pauline Christine Krohg, née Lasson (1860–1935)
Norwegian painter. Married to Christian Krohg. Became acquainted with Munch through the artist milieu in Kristiania during the 1880s. Sister of Alexandra Thaulow (née Lasson) and Bokken Lasson. Oda appears in several of Munch’s artworks as a femme fatale figure from bohemian circle in Kristiania. Model for the character “Vera” in Munch’s literary sketches and appears under her own name in The Violet Journal (MM T 2760).
